Bel Ami Jewels began life with Patty Bel's first took Jeweler classes in 1986 form a local jeweler, Dashka Roth, and then took 4 years of metalsmithing at Delgado College from Alan Hill (of Symmetry Jewelers). She recently took two courses in beading. Her Ph.D. got in the way for many years but she's back in her home studio in New Orleans where she designs and create a jewelry brand that provided quality pieces for everyday wear at an affordable price. Unique handmade jewelry designed by an Engineer. The pieces are simple and elegant with a European flair. Most pieces are one of a kind and will gather compliments. Interesting beads and stones are used in the designs along with sterling silver or gold-filled findings.
